Detectives based at DCI Dagoretti have rescued a seven-year-old boy from the hands of a suspected kidnapper.
The young boy was found in Ruku area of Wangige after days of relentless pursuit.
Detectives arrested a 33-year-old man whom they suspect conducted the heinous act.
The suspect was found in possession of different sim cards and mobile handsets which he used to cover his tracks.
According to Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the abduction of the boy took place on June 30, 2024.
“Detectives in Dagoretti successfully rescued a 7-year-old boy and arrested the culprit behind his abduction that took place on June 30,2024,” the DCI said.
The DCI said the boy was abducted within the precincts of his father’s church; Apostolic Church in Congo area of Kawangware.
