Former Defense CS Aden Duale has warned perpetrators of violence saying their days are numbered.

Duale said the government will not permit acts of violence that disturb the peace of the country.

In a tweet on his x account, he echoed the President's statement on the recent acts of violence that happened during the anti-Finance Bill protests in the country.

"The government will not tolerate orchestrated acts of violence aimed at disrupting the peace," he added.

The former CS also issued a stern warning to those still intending to jeopardize the peace of the nation.

Duale said such a group of people will not go unpunished.

"The sovereignty of our beloved nation is our most valuable shared asset. We will not permit orchestrated acts of violence to disturb the peace we've upheld since the birth of the white in our national flag," he said.

"To those instigating anarchy from the shadows, we know you and we are aware of your schemes," he said.

The president's remarks come in response to a series of violent incidents in various parts of the country, including the Kware Massacre in the Mukuru slums.

During his tour in Nakuru, the President also scoffed at an NGO for sponsoring the Generation Z demonstrations.

“Those behind sponsoring the chaos in the republic of Kenya I want to tell them shame on them! Because they are sponsoring violence against our democratic nation?” the President stated.

“We are going to call them out and tell them if they are going to sponsor violence and anarchy. We are going to tell them to either style up or leave.”
