The Nairobi Water Company has announced the resumption of normal banking services.

The company announced the resumption of services at the Central Business District Business Centre - Cameo Building, along Kenyatta Avenue.

In a notice dated July 16, the company thanked its customers for their patience during the period.

“Nairobi Water Company would like to inform its esteemed customers of the resumption of banking services. We thank you for your indulgence during the period of interruption. Thank you,” it reads.

During the period, customers were advised to use other Pay Points to settle their outstanding balances.

Payment using the pay point will, however, continue, it said.

The service interruption was announced on July 11 with customers being encouraged to pay using Account Name: Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company Ltd. Postal Address P.O. Box 30656 00100 NBI. Bank Cooperative Bank of Kenya Ltd.

“They should use the Account Number: 01136001361403 Branch: Enterprise Road: Swift Code: KCOOKENA Branch Code: 11056M-PESA,” read the notice.

"We wish to inform our esteemed customers of the temporary service interruption at our Cameo Business Centre along Kenyatta Avenue in the Central Business District.”

The company asked customers who have questions to reach out to them via their portal https://portal.nairobiwater.co.ke.
