Police in Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD) have used tear gas to disperse youth who had convened for anti-government protests.

There was a heavy police presence in the CBD, which has been the epicentre of previous protest action by the youth.

Tuesday was another day of intense protests as business activities grounded to a halt in the CBD as well as in other major urban centres across the country.
