Autopsies on the bodies recovered from a dumpsite in Kware, Mukuru slums are set to be conducted today.

The exercise had initially been scheduled for Tuesday but was postponed over among others the planned protests in the city.

The exercise will be conducted at the City Mortuary where the body parts are preserved.

Pathologists have already managed to conduct an autopsy on one of the two bodies that have been identified so far.

National building code

President William Ruto will preside over the official introduction of the National Building Code 2024 and the inauguration of Mobile Construction Material Testing Laboratories.

The event will take place at the Social Housing Project located at the Meteorological Site.

Allan Kiuna burial

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will attend the funeral service of the late bishop Allan Kiuna.

The burial will take place at the Jubilee Christian Church, Thindigua in Kiambu.

He died July 9 at a hospital in Nairobi after a long battle with Multiple Myeloma.

Protests aftermath

Business is back to normal in Nairobi and other major towns after a day of protests.

Business owners closed their shops as transport remained paralysed in the city during the protests.
