Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said that the national government will not relent in its fight against drugs and illicit brew.

Gachagua spoke in Thindigua during the burial of Jubilee Christian church founder Bishop Allan Kiuna on Wednesday.

He said that the fight should continue uninterruptedly noting that they will name those supporting it in public.

"We must save our children from these drugs and as a truthful leader, I have said that we will name them those who sell poison to the people "Gachagua said.

He noted that the church should play a central role in rehabilitating those affected.

"We must work together and save the community and we will not relent on this fight,"he said.

He further said that the Mount Kenya region isn't tribal urging the people to support the government.

Gachagua was accompanied by MPs Peter Salasya (Mumias East), Amos Mwago (Starehe) Veronica Maina (nominated )and Ann Muratha (Kiambu) among others .
