President William Ruto will today 4pm address the nation at State House, Nairobi.

The address comes after a week after he rolled out massive changes in his administration that saw all cabinet secretaries sent home.

It also comes at a time when Kenyans are anticipating more changes in his administration in line with concerns raised by Gen Zs.

The ministerial positions of the 21 CSs are now vacant after Ruto gazetted their dismissal.

In the Gazette Notice dated July 12, the head of state said the review and re-organisation of his administration was necessary to embed operational enhancements and foster responsive governance.

Unconfirmed reports had it that Ruto is likely to name cabinet secretaries during the planned address.

While attending a church service in Nyandarua last Sunday, the president asked for prayers as he navigated the path of crafting a new team to deliver the Kenyan dream.

While the fate of some former CSs may have been sealed, sources have revealed that a few others will make a comeback.

“I have opened a new chapter, pray for me to get the people who will help in the transformation agenda,” Ruto told the worshippers.

“Pray for me to get the right workers who will help us realise my promises to you.”

Ruto said he is looking for competent people who will help in making his Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) a reality.
