President William Ruto on Friday opened Konza Digital skills laboratory at the North Rift Technical and Vocational College in Tiaty, Baringo County.

Ruto also launched the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Chemolingot Campus, and issued title deeds to more than 2,530 people at Chemolingot.

During his visit to Baringo county, President Ruto reaffirmed his commitment to ending retrogressive activities and boosting investment in Kenya's marginalised regions to spur socio-economic transformation.

Ruto emphasised the need for unity and collaboration in harnessing the country's resources for economic growth.

"This is the time for us to step forward, work together, and put our capabilities and energies to optimal use for our country’s economic take-off," Ruto said.

The President also commissioned Chemususu water supply project and last mile internet connectivity project in Eldama Ravine Constituency.
