Opposition leader and Kenya's candidate for the Africa Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship seat Raila Odinga has arrived at State House, Nairobi.
Raila arrived at around 10:20 am.
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi was there to receive the leader who was accompanied by his wife, Ida.
They later posed for a photo before being ushered into a holding room.
President William Ruto is set to officially unveil his candidacy for the post in the ceremony that will be graced by at least six African presidents who are already in the country.
Cabinet Secretaries and several ODM leaders are also in attendance.
They were seen sharing some light moments at the state pavilion decorated with AU flags including that of Kenya and EAC.
Raila arrived in a convoy of several vehicles.
He had earlier met with a section of leaders from his party at a hotel in Nairobi before his motorcade made its way to State House under tight security.
It is the second time Raila is setting foot at State House since the election of President William Ruto.
