Police in Trans Nzoia on Tuesday exhumed the body of a woman which was wrapped in a blanket and buried in a shallow grave.
The woman has since been identified as Alice Chemutai, a resident of Kitale town.
Trans Nzoia DCI boss Paul Songok led homicide officers at the home in Kaliwa village, Waitaluk ward where the body was exhumed.
Songok said three suspects are in police custody in connection with her death and secret burial. The shallow grave was located behind a mud house.
