The National Assembly is currently holding sittings to debate the motion to impeach DP Rigathi Gachagua.
Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse formally tabled the impeachment motion in Parliament.
Mutuse tabled at least 11 accusations against Gachagua.
Gachagua denied all the accusations against him in a press conference on Monday.
Today, the DP will appear before the MPs to defend himself.
The process will begin with the tabling of the Report of the Public Participation exercise that was conducted on the impeachment, where Kenyans gave their views on every 11 allegations against Gachagua.
The mover of the motion, Mutuse Mwengi, will then get a chance to move the motion.
According to the National Assembly Order Paper for Tuesday, he will have at least one hour to do so.
