In Kilome, Makueni County, authorities are looking into the sudden death of 44-year-old Benjamin Muuo, whose body was discovered outside his home.

It is suspected that he may have accidentally fallen from the roof and died instantly.

Police noted that the body showed visible injuries around the mouth.

The scene was processed, and the body was transferred to the Kilungu Sub-County Hospital mortuary for preservation pending an autopsy.

In the Bosoni area, police received a report on Monday about a lifeless body found lying on a feeder road.

Upon arrival, they identified the man as Eric Okindo, who appeared to have been intoxicated while walking home.

His body was discovered in a ditch with no visible injuries apart from some bruising on the forehead.

The scene was documented, and the body was taken to the Gucha Level Four Hospital morgue pending an autopsy.

In Marigat, Baringo County, authorities are investigating the sudden death of 75-year-old Kandagor Chirchir.

Police reported that Chirchir had been ill for some time and passed away while lying in bed.

His body was moved to the Baringo County Referral Hospital mortuary for an autopsy.

As the country recovers from recent fire incidents, residents of Makuyu, Murang’a South, experienced another fire on Sunday.

Officers on patrol noticed flames and found that the fire had already burned grass at the Makuyu Golf Club.

Police have not yet determined the cause of the fire.

In Matungu, Kakamega County, police intercepted a vehicle on the Busia-Kakamega road. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver fled, trying to change direction back toward Busia.

The driver sped toward the officers, prompting one of them to fire two rounds at the rear left tyre.

The driver was apprehended, and a search revealed contraband, including 150 dozen bottles of Simba waragi, suspected to be alcoholic, and four loaves of bread.
