Brighton came from behind to earn a stunning win over English Premier League-defeating Champions Manchester City on Saturday
City scored first in the 23rd minute through their prolific striker Erling Haaland before Brighton struck two quick-fire goals in four minutes late into the second half. Jao Pedro scored the equaliser in the 78th minute before Matt O'Riley gave Brighton the lead in the 83rd minute.
A 9-minute added time could not enable City to pull a last-minute equaliser, meaning City Manager Pep Guardiola has now suffered four successive defeats for the first time in his managerial career.
It is also the first time Manchester City have lost four successive games in 18 years since Stuart Pearce was manager.
First half, City were excellent, but second half, when Brighton coach Hurzeler made the subs, there was only one team that was going to win it.
City looked pretty tired for the final half an hour of the match as they continue missing Ruben Dias, John Stones, Jack Grealish, and Jeremy Doku, alongside long-term absentees Rodri and Oscar Bobb.
Guardiola and Manchester City now have two weeks before their next game against Tottenham at home on 23 November.
They will hope their fitness issues have relented slightly by then, but their fixture list is very tough over the next few weeks.
