President William Ruto on Friday stunned as he stepped out clad in a full traditional Maasai attire in Samburu.

The Head of State had attended the Maa Cultural Festival held near the Samburu National Reserve in Samburu County.

“Kenya’s rich and diverse indigenous culture is our pride and treasure. We are, therefore, protecting, nurturing and promoting it and, at the same time, incorporating culture in our development policies for our country’s sustainable growth,” Ruto said.

Others who attended the colourful event were Tourism Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano, Governors Jonathan Lati Lelelit (Samburu), Patrick ole Ntutu (Narok), Joseph ole Lenku (Kajiado), and Mohamud Ali (Marsabit), along with MPs, MCAs and other leaders.
