Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has opened up about his life outside the government 32 days after he was impeached by MPs and his ouster was upheld by the Senate.
Speaking on Sunday evening in an interview on NTV, Gachagua said he has been engaging in several activities since the events of October 18, 2024.
"I have had a lot of time to read, listen to country music, spend time with my wife, and visit friends, said former DP Rigathi Gachagua.
The former DP also talked about the events that transpired during a funeral in Limuru that turned chaotic during the week.
"The events of Limuru are very sad; a carefully worked-out scheme to take away my life was hatched and carried out. It started with the withdrawal of security officers around me," he said.
