Rotary International president Dr Stephanie Urchick arrived in Kenya on Sunday on a thre-day visit of the country with aseries of activities lined up as part of her African Magic Tour 2025.

Upon her arrival, she headed to Argyle Grand hotel and attended High Tea occasion at Past Trustee's Geeta's Residence.

She later had dinner with the Director General (DG), aides and team who were briefed on the subsequent details of her visit.

On Monday, January 13, Stephanie will have breakfast with Major gifts and ASK donors where she will deliver a 10-minute speech.

She is also expected to have a tour of State House where she is expected to meet with senior government official during the visit, pending confirmation.

The RI president will then tour Pumwani Maternity Referral Hospital in Nairobi, an event which constitutes tree planting, unveiling of the Rotary plaque, tour of the hospital and a media interview.

Later on the same day, Stephanie is set to attend a Rotaract meeting at the University of Nairobi themed 'Evolving Role of Rotaract in Shaping the Future of Rotary'.

The president's second working day will see her visit the Nairobi National Park , the Giraffe Centre, and attend a media interview of select media houses at the Argyle Grand hotel.

On Tuesday evening, the RI president will attend the Centennial Rotary Foundation Gala dinner whose programme will be provided later.

During the dinner, she will give a 20-minute keynote address after remarks from the DG 3310, DG Dr Joe Kamau and Director Daniel Tanase.

The event will end with a gifting session, marking the last official day of hwer visit to Kenya.

The RI president will then depart from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Wednesday, January 15, 2026 at 9am.

She is expected to visit several other countries as part of her African tour.
