Saboti MP Caleb Amisi has said that the Wiper leader should leave some stunts to comedians who do it to earn a living.

In a post on his X account, Amisi stated that Kalonzo is a presidential candidate and must act as one because it is a serious job.

He was responding to videos shared by Kalonzo in which he was walking his dog accompanied by other people with dogs.

He claimed that he was hunting for abductors with his dog following the recent wave of reported abductions in the country.

Amisi questioned how he would expect Kenyans to take him seriously if he came back without any of the imaginary abductors he was hunting with his dogs.

“Bwana, my elder and senior, Kalonzo Musyoka these theatrics are for comedians, they do it for a living. If these dogs don't bring back any criminal abductor before citizens, how will Kenyans trust you? Do you need to continue feeding these dogs if they don't perform? Last time I checked, you were running for the presidency, it’s a serious job ndugu,” the Saboti MP stated on his X account.

On Wednesday, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka took things to a whole new level, albeit in jest, when he was out walking his dog

In a video he posted on his TikTok account, the Wiper party leader was seen walking one of five dogs on a road depicting police officers on a hunt for imaginary abductors as handlers of the other four dogs follow close by.

“Look there, twende, abductor huyo, abductor huyo,” he said repeatedly.

The Wiper leader has been vocal about condemning abductions in the country and calling out the state agencies tasked with investigating such criminal acts and ensuring the safety of Kenyans.

Police have denied involvement in the series of abductions which peaked after the June 2024 Gen Z-led protests.
