The government agencies have announced 38 job opportunities in various departments.
In notices published via Tuesday’s issue of My Gov, the
institutions advertised the different job vacancies that are up for grabs.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) announced four job
vacancies in public universities.
At the University of Nairobi, the Commission is seeking to
employ a Vice-Chancellor and a Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic Affairs).
The Commission is also looking for a Deputy Vice Chancellor
(Administration and Finance) for Kenyatta University and a Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration, Finance, Planning and Development) for Tharaka
University.
PSC said the details of the posts and mode of application
can be accessed on the Commission’s website: www.publicservice.go.ke.
Applications should reach the Commission on or before February
11, 2025 latest 5pm.
The Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA) is seeking
to recruit highly competent, proactive and self-driven individuals to fill the
vacancy of the Director of Corporate Services.
MSEA said the successful candidate will be required to
provide Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission Clearance, Kenya Revenue
Authority Tax Compliance Certificate (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board
Clearance Certificate (HELB), certificate of Good Conduct from the Criminal Investigation
Department (CID) and certificate from Credit Reference Bureau.

MSEA said all applications should be sent through the post
office or hand delivered to the Chief Executive Officer no later than February

On the other hand, the National Cohesion and Integration Commission
(NCIC) is seeking to employ a CEO.
Interested applicants should hold a Master’s degree in a
relevant field from a recognised institution, have 18 years cumulative
experience in a relevant field in the Private or Public Sector- eight of which
must have been in a Senior Management position.
The applicant should meet the requirements of leadership and
integrity as prescribed in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 and
demonstrate commitment to national values espoused in Article 10.
NCIC said applications should be received on or before
February 4, 2025, by 5pm.

The National Mining Corporation (NAMICO) has advertised five
job opportunities including Corporation Secretary/Manager Legal Services,
Manager Mineral Exploration, Manager Investment Analysis, Manager Finance and
Accounts, Manager, and Human Resource Management and Administration.
NAMICO said interested and suitably qualified candidates are
required to make their applications online through the NAMICO career portal: https://recruitment.namico.go.ke.
