Former West Pokot Governor John Lonyangapuo has expressed his grief following the tragic deaths of four people, including two politicians from West Pokot County.
The four died in a road accident in Tapaach, Uganda on March 22, 2025, at 8 p.m.
The leaders were on a 10-day development tour, County Commissioner Khaliff Abdullahi says.
Lonyangapuo said he is lost for words to express his shock and disbelief following the accident.
"Our beloved brothers who lost their lives following a grisly road accident last evening in Eastern Uganda. May their souls rest in eternal peace. Mutyo Nyoman," Lonyangapuo said.
