“I will not be at peace until the day people of Samburu will be sleeping in peace, and we ensure Samburu is as peaceful as other parts of the country,” Kindiki said.

During the development visit of Samburu, Kindiki the government is focused on equitable distribution of development projects to elevate the nation’s socio-economic growth.

He insisted that every part of the country, including Samburu will benefit from key development projects aimed at transforming the lives of all Kenyans.

“My work is to assist the President to deliver development to the people of Kenya, and I will ensure Samburu is not left behind and benefits from development like every other part of our country,” he said.

Banditry and cattle rustling continues to be one of the biggest challenges the county faces to date, as well as other counties including Isiolo, Baringo and Elgeyo Marakwet among others.
