

Top Chinese IT gurus have accused several countries of spearheading a cyber attack against the systems of the Asian Winter Games held in February.
A report by China's National Computer Virus Emergency Response Centre released Thursday pointed fingers at the US for leading the attacks.
The 9th Asian Winter Games took place in Harbin and drew participants from various countries.
The attacks were directed at the events information release system, entry and exit management system, and the payment card system.
The report revealed that there were over 270,000 attacks targeting the systems of both the games and the information infrastructure in Heilongjian Province.
According to the report, the number of attacks fluctuated and were worse on February 8.
Reports by various Chinese media outlets show that the US had the highest at 170,864.
Singapore accounted for 40,449, followed by Netherlands at 12,414, and South Korea at 1,281.
According to the tech team, the attackers targeted crucial data in the system and attempted to damage it.
Howevr, the officials said there was no serious threat yet as the attacks did not cause significant damage.
"The attacks underscore the severe and ongoing threat of cyberattacks against our country," the team said.
They drew conclusion to the US leading the attacks on the tactics, techniques and procedures the attackers employed.
This after the IP addresses were traced back to the United States and the Netherlands, concluding they were related to the US government.
The Donald Trump administration is yet to respond to the claims.
