Why do men find the love of their lives once they are married? It can be annoying at times, and it makes one wonder if the institution of marriage is not worth respect anymore.
It is hard to come across a faithful man nowadays. Even those who sit in the first column in church on Sunday have mistresses they plan to meet later that evening. Men say ‘as long as I provide whatever my family wants, it enough’. But is it really?
Whose fault is it? Or does love die naturally once people are married hence the need to cheat to feel present and needed?
It is saddening that the same women waiting to get married are the same sleeping around with married men. What goes around comes around. This might mean we are looking at a generation that will have the messiest marriage life.
However, men, too, are to blame. Going out with a woman half your age or the same age as your daughter is wrong. They should focus on fixing in their marriage and spending most time in it so as to enjoy and make things right.
It is even sad because the married old men are taking the spots meant for young men. You find campus girls have ‘sponsors’ as they commonly refer to the married men, while the boys are left out to dry. Where then shall they get wives? They are left indulging in drug and substance use.
No part of seeing a woman half your age is right, but it gets traumatizing when these married men start trashing their wives. The mothers of their children using phrases such as ‘she just lives with me but you live in my heart’ or ‘it’s already too late to get rid of her, but it’s you I love’. Love? Love is a very strong word to go throwing around for sex.
Our mothers need to sit down with their daughters and tell them to stop because karma comes after everyone eventually and when the time comes. It’ll serve what one deserves.
Young girls need to get their priorities right because there’s not much that the married man can do for them; offer food and drinks, pay rent, provide monies for little bills such as hair and nails, and lie to them. The End.
A man that loves you would show you off and invest in you. Not one who cannot be seen in public with you and his only interest is getting you drunk so as to get into your pants. If they truly love you, they might consider even a second marriage, no?
There is nothing like I love you but I only see you Friday nights, so when a married man tells you they love you, run! It will go nowhere but karma might just come around once you’re married.
And to men, your actions will punish you. If you have no life and long-term plans with someone’s daughter, let her be with someone who is fit for her instead of destroying her for a man her age. You are not in love; you are just a pervert who cannot keep it together.
