The number of people practising LGBTQ in the country is alarming.
It is seen that most members of the group are teenagers and youth.
Homosexual practice is illegal. It is a bad influence.
This practice has destroyed the boy-girl relationships since it entails same-gender companionship.
This practice is also destroying marriages.
With these characteristics, homosexual individuals cannot raise a child due to the same gender.
In our learning institutions, it is identified that is where these characters are adapted and spread.
The spread of LGTBQ among teens has also been steered by strict parents who prohibit their children from socialising with the opposite gender.
Negative peer pressure has also steered the spread of this negative character.
It is, therefore, our task to stop the spread of the LGTBQ movement in our state.
The church should be at the forefront to fight the practice.
Students in our schools, through the guidance and counselling department, should be guided not to engage in sex with the same gender.
Those who practice the acts should be punished.
On the matter of influence, appropriate content should be filtered before it graces our screens.
This includes restricting movies, songs, and anything related to the individuals who are members of the LGTBQ movement.
Parents should not strict their children from interacting with the opposite gender.
This does not only help to control homosexuality or lesbianism but also, helps the child's psychological development to know more about the other gender.
This also promotes social interaction in society.
The issue should be addressed in a logical way to combat its spread in the community.
NGOs should also create awareness about the negative effects of LGTBQ.
Students should be warned about the outcomes of practising homosexual or lesbianism.
