In Summary

  • Teaching is a very unique occupation.
  • Most people intricate themselves into it but a small number manage to triumph along and deliver the services appropriately.

Today, Kenya joins other countries in commemorating World Teachers Day as was proclaimed by Unesco in 1994.

Teachers form the backbone of society.

They are role models to children. They also offer guidance and dedicate themselves to giving young people the power of education.

Adoring this day is a subtle way for the learners to perceive and humble themselves that whatever they are it's because of their teachers.

Those who are still learners should have gratitude toward the gurus who have facilitated their success.

Teachers play a principal role in ensuring that the whole world is civilised and educated.

They are always unselfish and dedicate their endeavour to inspire young people and provide a platform for them to climb various ladders in life productively.

Teaching is a very unique occupation.

Most people intricate themselves into it but a small number manage to triumph along and deliver the services appropriately.

They serve the role of being the second parents of the learners because teachers guide, correct and motivate.

Therefore, this special day provides the occasion to celebrate the teaching profession worldwide.

Let’s take this prosperous opportunity to take stock of achievements and draw attention to the voices of teachers who are the core of efforts to accomplish the global education target by leaving no one behind.

People like lawyers, presidents, doctors, pilots and others are the products of teachers.

Behind every successful individual, a teacher who toiled laboriously for the sake of that person is involved.

Teachers should be appreciated through the expression of love and caring messages, organising parties for them and also ensuring they have a conducive working environment so that they can deliver their services effectively.

It’s also high time for us to give a listening ear to them so that they can divulge the challenges they face and have them addressed with an immediate effect by concerned people.

Expressing gratitude through calls and awarding them gifts are also some of the ways we can use to showcase our love and respect for them.

We lay a better and strong foundation for the future generation by ensuring the youths are educated.

We get to learn the significance of having pain over that of a sword through a teacher.

Today’s youths are moulded and motivated how to work smart to make their tomorrow brighter than today, by teachers.

Teachers help in simplifying and making the complex concept easy to be accessed and comprehended by learners.

The transformation of education begins with a teacher.

This is enough for them to be given credit.
