The MP said that the high cost of living cannot be lowered with protests, stealing in people’s shops and throwing stones.

The MP said, instead, Azimio should embrace the bipartisan talks to address the issues raised.

“Odinga should embrace talks with the President and avoid causing unnecessary tension amongst Kenyans, we don’t want to lose people because of his weekly demos,” Waluke said.

Waluke spoke at Chebukaka girl’s high school in Kabuchai Constituency on Saturday during a funds drive.

Waluke alleged that he was asked by former President Uhuru Kenyatta to cross over to the Jubilee party so that he could be cleared by the IEBC to defend his Sirisia seat last year.

With due respect to the then head of state, Waluke said that he dumped UDA and joined the Jubilee party so that he could be cleared to contest.

Waluke said that he actively participated in the formation of the Kenya Kwanza government.

In last year’s general elections, Waluke was elected in the Jubilee party and campaigned for Raila’s statehouse battle.

Waluke who doubles as the Chairman of the Western region parliamentary caucus, argued that Raila has no agenda to change the lives of Kenyans instead he is fighting for his own interests.

“We know Raila for many he has never accepted the poll results, we are now united to ensure that Ruto propels Kenya to the next level,” Waluke said.

He noted that he quit the opposition brigade a long time ago and joined President Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government.

''If everybody from my region is in government lead by National assembly speaker Moses Wetang’ula who I’m I not to be in government.”

Waluke pointed out that during Thursday State House meeting with President, Ruto said he aims at improving the country’s economy, boost the western region farming and reform Nzoia Sugar Company.

Waluke said that Uhuru and Raila failed address interests of the country asking the opposition to give time to the Kenya Kwanza government to fulfill their plan.
