The National Assembly is set to debate on the impeachment motion of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
MPs will go through the 11 charges leveled against the DP, starting from 9 am.
The motion, which was tabled on October 1, was presented by Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse.
The bid was supported by 291 MPs, way over the threshold of the 117 MPs required.
The lawmakers are expected to take a vote later on after debating the grounds of impeachment.
Gachagua to appear before MPs on impeachment bid
Deputy President Gachagua will on Tuesday at 5 pm, appear before the National Assembly to answer to allegations of impeachment.
He is accused of making inciteful remarks, undermining President William Ruto and the Cabinet, bullying, ethnical discrimination and other violations of the Constitution.
“I was elected by 7.2 million Kenyans; how dare you suggest I resign without public participation? I have no intention of resigning from this job… I will fight until the end,” he told journalists at a press conference on Monday night, hours before the motion's hearing in the National Assembly.
MoH to officially open training workshop on benefits of SHA
The Ministry of Health will on Tuesday officially open the training workshop for human resources directors from ministries, departments, and disciplined forces.
The workshop will focus on the SHA benefits package and the employers’ portal designed to ensure a smooth transition for public sector employees under the Authority.
The event will be officiated by PS for Medical Services Harry Kimtai at the Kenya School of Government (KSG).
