Kenya Power has listed areas in five counties scheduled for power interruption on Thursday.
The power interruption will occur between 8.30 am and 5 pm in different counties.
The counties to be affected are Nairobi, Elgeyo Marakwet, Laikipia, Kirinyaga and Kiambu.
Nairobi
Areas in Nairobi will experience power cuts from 9 am to 5 pm.
They include Marurui AP Post, Marurui Primary School and Victory Church.
Others are part of Lucky Summer, Tiba Primary, Ngunyumu Primary, Ngomongo, Dandora Dumpsite, Dandora Ph 2, 3 and 4, Co-op Bank and Uprising.
Elgeyo Marakwet
The areas will experience power cuts from 8.30 am to 5 pm.
They are Turesia, Floupar, Kimwarer, Kapkayo, Kocholwa, Sego, Muskut, Emsea, Biretwo, Rogocho, Chegilet and Kabulwa.
Laikipia
Areas in Laikipia will have power cuts from 8.30 am to 4 pm.
They are Temu East, Braeburn School and St. Christopher Primary.
At the same time areas including the whole of OXX Energy, Jua Kali Market, Mayan Hotel, Naibor Market, Daraja, Rititi Market, Enai Golf, Jessel and Tundra Farm Golf will experience power cuts.
Kirinyaga
Parts of Kirinyaga will experience power interruptions from 9 am to 5 pm.
They are Tebere Concrete, Atlantis, Galaxy Kaminji, Wachoro Boys Secondary School, Makutano Kaminji Side, CMI, Rukanga AP, Wanjuguma, Rukanga, Rukanga Dispensary, Meved Dairy, Kobil Shell, Riandira Mkt, Ngothi, Rapids Camp, Rukanga Safcom Booster, Thanju Primary, Kwa V Market, Jungleman and HCDA Depot Sagan.
Kiambu
Areas in Kiambu will have power interruptions from 9 am to 5 pm.
They are Taka Taka Solutions, Kawamwaki Farm, Sycamore, Koba Waters, Black Petals Flowers, Nazareth Hosp, Utee Farm, Brook Hill School, Eldo Farm, Utungi, Jomalis and Clarency Methany Bible School.
Other areas to experience power interruption in Kimabu from 8.30 am to 5 pm are Githunguri Ranch, Whole of Membley East, Jack Ridge, Gitambaya, Wataalam, Githunguri Primary, Membley PCEA, Membley High School, Rorex, Full Gospel, Peak Academy and Fort Jesus.
Other areas in Kiambu to have power cuts from 9 am to 5 pm are Magajo Primary, Barainya, St. Paul Gatuanyaga, Magana Primary, Munyu Girls, Munyu Dispensary, Munyu Police Station, Githima S/Center and Komo S/Center.
