KPLC lists areas in 3 counties to experience power cuts Thursday

Kenya Power has listed areas in three counties that will go without power for the better part of Thursday.

The power company listed Nairobi, Kisii and Bungoma as counties to be affected.

The utility firm expressed regret for the inconvenience that this will cause to facilitate system maintenance.

In Nairobi, supply will be interrupted in the Muthaiga area from 9am to 5pm.

Affected areas include Gertrude's Hospital, Oil Libya, Chui Road, Naivasha Avenue, British Embassy Residence, Embassy of Saudi Arabia, Orchard Close and Muthaiga Garden.

At the same time in Mukuru Kwa Njenga area, Maziwa Stage, M-Gas Mukuru Depot, Villa Police Station, Wapewape Road, Embakasi Girls, Muindi Mweusi S/Market, Mukuru kwa Njenga, Chaminade, St. Mary's Hospital Mukuru kwa Njenga, Kware Police Post, Mukuru kwa Njenga Primary, Kware Statehouse, Pipeline Chairmans, Muindi Mweusi S/Market Pipeline and Part of Plot 10 will experience power cuts.

In Bungoma, Wandabwa Primary School, Ndivisi Namwatikho, Ndivisi Girls, Ndivisi Boys, Ndivisi Market, Mulaku, Makunga Market, Nabiswa, Karima, Lusokho and Kwana will experience an interruption from 9 am to 5 pm.

Areas that will not have power in Kisii from 9am to 5pm include Nyakoe Quarry, Ititi Primary, Kiareni, Marani Market, Marani Sub-County Hosp, Sombogo T/Fact, Nyakeiri, Rioma Market, Rioma Police Station, Apondo Primary, Gesiaka, Nyamatuta, Ruga Quarry, Nyando Quarry, Nyakome Secondary School and Kiareni Secondary.
