Former NTV mixmaster DJ Mo has asked fans to stop judging gospel musicians harshly.
Speaking to Jalang'o TV, Mo said gospel artistes are treated harshly for releasing love songs but secular singers are praised when they release gospel songs.
He said this has affected the lives of many gospel musicians.
"There is nothing like getting into the gospel and getting out of it. On this side, it is supposed to be a ministry and anyone can do ministry," Mo said.
The deejay said his entertainment gigs make up a small percentage of his total wealth, adding that being a DJ is his passion but he loves business.
"I have always been a businessman. 80 percent of whatever I have is from business," he said.
"I deal with tenders. Whenever I meet with politicians, I request for tenders. This is because I love business."
