It can be used to make salads, soups or stews making you fuller for longer since it is a starchy vegetable and has lots of carbohydrates.
People with diabetes should eat it in moderation since it can cause blood sugar levels to rise.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup of Sweet Corn, cooked
- 2 Cups of Basmati Rice, pre-boiled.
- ¼ Tbsp. black pepper
- Vegetable oil
Preparation
Step 1
Using a sufuria, heat the vegetable oil and then add the cooked corn. Season with black pepper and salt.
Step 2
Add in the cooked rice. Ensure to remove any clumps before adding the rice. Mix well on medium-high heat until everything is well combined.
Serve warm with beef, chicken, or vegetables.
Corn can also be added to pilau.
