WhatsApp may soon roll out a feature that lets users view status updates within the chat list without necessarily going to the status tab.
All you need to do is tap a user's profile picture in your chat list to view their status updates.
The feature was first spotted by WABetaInfo and is similar to that of Meta’s Instagram.
The feature has already been rolled out to some of WhatsApp Beta users and may soon roll out to Android and iOS users soon.
