Jamaican dancehall artiste Chinsea Linda Lee, popularly known as Shenseea sent a message to her Kenyan fans after her show was postponed.
The show was set for August 26.
In a video seen by the Star, Shenseea apologised saying that things did not go according to plan, and she is also disappointed.
The singer noted that she planned to come and have a good time with her fans but that will not be the case, at least for now.
She added that she will still make the trip happen.
"First off Kenya, let me start by saying that I love you guys so much but I'm sorry everything did not go as we were all expecting.
"I'm really disappointed because I was looking forward to coming there and having a grand time with you guys but just know that when I do touch down there it's going to be problems," Shenseea said.
Her statement comes hours after organisers of the show which was dubbed Sababisha Festival announced that the concert had been postponed to a later date in October.
"We are sorry to announce that after long consultations between our ground team and Shenseea's management team, we have made the decision to postpone the Sababisha Festival which was scheduled to happen on August 26," read part of the announcement.
According to the organisers, the tickets that had already been purchased will still be valid for use when the concert will happen.
