Netflix released its first African reality show on March 18, 2022, dubbed Young, Famous and African.

Two days later, the show is already trending on Kenya’s Netflix attracting those that have an insatiable appetite for drama and love in reality shows, only this time it is from different celebrities from all corners of Africa.

The reality series which is mostly unscripted follows a crew of famed affluent stars as they work and play, flirt and feud in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The show features a group of wealthy young media personalities, musicians and fashion icons as they pursue their dreams, find love and reignite old romances.

The seven-episode series stars East Africa, Bongo star Diamond Platinumz, South African rapper Nadia Nakai, Actor Khanyi Mbau Annie Macaulay-Idibia (Nigeria), 2Baba (Nigeria), Zari the Boss Lady (Uganda), Naked DJ (South Africa), Swanky Jerry (Nigeria), Andile Ncube (South Africa), and Kayleigh Schwark (South Africa).

Expect the ladies to clash over fine dining and men to get loud; promises to be broken, drama and more drama.
