Rissole dishes are common in France.
It is a small patty enclosed in pastry or rolled in breadcrumbs, which are usually deep-fried.
Rissole dishes can be served with noodles, rice, or even a drink.
To make a tasty rissole dish you need the following ingredients.
- A cup of cooked minced meat
- One onion
- A cup of plain wheat flour
- a quarter level of salt
- One cup of water
- Margarine
- Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Sieve the salt together with the flour in a bowl.
Step 2
Rub the margarine into the flour using your fingertips until the mixture resembles fine bread crumbs.
Step 3
Add water gradually and knead the mixture into a firm ball.
Step 4
Leave it to relax covered in a cool place.
Step 5
Divide the pastry into eight balls then roll out each ball thinly into a circle.

Put the cooked minced meat in each circle at the center and wet each edge.
Step 7
Fold into half and seal the edge so that it resembles half moon.
Step 8
Heat enough oil in a deep frying pan until it's hot then deep in your rissoles and deep fry your pastry until golden brown.
Step 9
Drain your rissoles on clean absorbent paper.
When down serve your rissole while still hot with a drink of your choice.
