Insurance firm celebrates 100 years with cocktail

One of the oldest insurance companies in East Africa, Phoenix Assuarance last week Wednesday, marked 100 years of existence by hosting an intimate cocktail at the Serena Nairobi Hotel.During the event that also coincided with the launch of the company's website, Commissioner and chief executive officer of Insurance Regulatory Authority Sammy Makove said that “We should leverage on these new technology systems to be more profitable in this insurance market.

One of the oldest insurance companies in East Africa, Phoenix Assuarance last week Wednesday, marked 100 years of existence by hosting an intimate cocktail at the Serena Nairobi Hotel.

During the event that also coincided with the launch of the company's website, Commissioner and chief executive officer of Insurance Regulatory Authority Sammy Makove said that “We should leverage on these new technology systems to be more profitable in this insurance market.

In attendance were incoming Phoenix Assurance MD Ashraf Musbally, Mauritius Union Group CEO Bertrand Casteres and Sarit Centre chairman Nitin Shah.
