Refugees attended a regional convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Turkana County, in the past weekend.

They gathered at Silga Lodge, Kakuma for the 2024, three-day “Declare the Good News” regional convention series by Jehovah's Witnesses in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Turkana County among other cities in Kenya.

There was an attendance of more than 50,000 people in Kenya throughout the weekend.

“Every year, witnesses globally look forward to being at the conventions for the teaching as well as encouragement from each other,” the spokesperson for Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kenya, Victor Karoki, said.

The “Declare the Good News” convention presented Bible-based videos, discourses, and interviews on topics such as; Lessons From the Land of Jesus, How to Use the Good News to Defeat Bad News, and Why We Don’t Fear Bad News.
