WhatsApp users will now have an option to create polls in their groups after the feature was launched this week.
The feature was first spotted by WABeta Info back in April 2022.
The feature is available on Android devices and will be rolled out soon to iOS and the desktop version.
The feature is meant for group chats but individuals can create and send polls to each other.
It joins support polls of Twitter, Telegram and Facebook.
Everybody can vote on the check boxes they wish to check.
From one to as many options as there are, but everybody in the group will see the option you selected.
How to create a poll
Step 1
Open the WhatsApp chat you want to create a poll.
Step 2
Click the ‘Clip’icon at the message bar.
Step 3
Click ‘Poll’ which is the new seventh option.
Step 4
Ask your questions, then give the answer options then click the send icon.
