Champions Kenya Ports Authority coach Sammy Kiki is happy with the team's performance over the weekend but admits a lot needs to be done as far as their chemistry is concerned.
He was speaking after the porters' first two Kenya National Basketball League games coming immediately after their Basketball Africa League (BAL) outing in Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania.
"Yes we posted good results and I am really happy with the performance. The boys did a great job both in offence and defense," offered KPA coach Sammy Kiki.
"The new players played so well. We are getting better game by game. Though the team chemistry is not yet at the top, I believe with time, we will reach there."
KPA dismissed the United States International University (USIU) Tigers 61-49 after taking a 22-12 first-quarter advantage.
They were up 35-23 at the break. At the end of the third quarter, KPA were riding high 48-37 and had a high of 15 points from Kenya Morans' guard Eugene Adera.

They have won two of their eight matches. In the lower division matches, Zetech University Titans overwhelmed Moi Air Base (MAB) hitting them hard in a 69-58 win.
Richard Kanda's Cabals Elitists returned to Nakuru from their trip with maximum points after they beat Hope 56-46.
