Madira Soccer Assassin's chief executive officer Nickson Muleri has appealed to well-wishers to rescue the financially struggling Women's Premier League side.
He said lack of financial muscle has seen them fall short in their preparations and meeting daily obligations including meals and other basic items.
This has seen their performance dwindle. They are 10th on the WPL standings with four points from five matches. Vihiga Queens lead the table with 20 points from eight matches.
"We are appealing to well-wishers to chip in and rescue our sinking hip," Muleri said.
If the situation doesn't improve, he foresees a no-show in this weekend's match against Ulinzi Stalets in Nairobi.
Meanwhile, Tony Kweya, the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Western region National Executive Member, is set to meet Madira and Bunyore Starlets after disagreements over the sharing of gate collections.
The two Vihiga county teams share Mumboha grounds for their home matches.
