Police Bullets sign Hato from Mathare United ahead of season

Former Madira Soccer Assassin captain Jane Hato has made a comeback to the Kenya Women's Premier League (KWPL) after signing a new contract with Kenya Police Bullets in the ongoing transfer window.

Hato has been absent from the KWPL after signing for Mathare Women Football Club which is in the National Super League (NSL).

Kenya Police Bullet FC confirmed the signing of Hato through their official Facebook page.

“Join us in welcoming our latest addition, Jane "Didi" Hato, to the Kenya Police Bullets FC squad," the law enforcers announced on their Facebook page. 

" The ever-jovial player joins us from the Mathare United Women's team. The midfielder is set to bring her national U20 captaincy experience and leadership to the club. She has an inspirational ability for arranging plays with precision passing,” the club added.

The statement further said her arrival promises to add finesse to the Poolice midfield and ignite the club's pursuit for more victories next season. "Let's show Didi some love and support as she makes her mark with us," the club noted. 

Rumours have it that Vihiga Queens' winger Emilly Moranga could also be on her way to joining the current KWPL champions. However, both sides have yet to make it official.

The winner of the Cecafa Championships will take part in the Caf Champions League to be held in Cote d’Ivoire.

 "We hope to reinforce our playing unit. This includes getting a new goalkeeper, several defenders, a midfield and at least two attackers,” Odemba stated in her previous statement.

“We have started talking to possible reinforcements and some of them may join us any time from now,” she added.
