The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has teamed up with global TV brand TCL in a landmark partnership set to redefine the Olympic experience through to the 2032 Games.
This collaboration will enhance the "Athlete Moment," a cherished Olympic feature that allows competitors to connect with their loved ones immediately after competing.
The Athlete Moment was first introduced at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The initiative allowed athletes to connect with their family when spectators weren't permitted at the Games owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The success of the initiative saw it featured at the Beijing 2022 Summer Olympics and recently at the Paris 2024 Games.
With the 2028 Olympic Games heading to Los Angeles and the 2032 edition set for Brisbane, the partnership aligns seamlessly with the IOC’s drive to advance its Olympic AI Agenda. 
It aims to revolutionise fan and athlete experiences, both in-person and at home.
At a grand unveiling in Beijing’s iconic Water Cube—host to the 2008 Olympic swimming events and transformed into the Ice Cube for the 2022 Winter Olympics—IOC President Thomas Bach hailed the partnership

Beyond enhancing the Games’ technological landscape, the IOC will reinvest revenue from the partnership into global sports development. 
National Olympic Committees, athletes and Organising Committees for the Olympic and Youth Olympic Games are all set to benefit from the partnership 
TCL’s Founder and Chairman, Li Dongsheng, echoed the excitement.
