Equity Bank Dumas coach Isaac Munyoki said they are ready to face Nairobi City Thunder in a top Kenya National Basketball League clash at Nyayo Stadium gymnasium today.

The free-scoring Thunder have made some big signings and are top of the 12-team table with a maximum of 14 points after easily winning seven of their matches. The matches tip-off at 6 pm.

“We have been working well and we are ready for the game. We want to execute our sets and stick to our game plan,” noted Munyoki, whose team is on a four-game run after two opening losses.

“Thunder are well coached, and a good opponent. We have to reduce our turnovers and ensure we make it a one-possession game per offense. We have to control the rebounding game and also chase them off the three-point line.

“We have prepared well. We have cleaned up areas in our game that need to be better. Equity are a tough matchup for us and we love our chances against them,” offered Thunder’s assistant coach Sadat Gaya.
