His run to the finals was nothing short of spectacular, as he continuously amazed his opponents with his extraordinary talent and tenacity.

Against the Angolan, he exhibited lightning-fast reflexes and powerful punches, proving he was a force to reckon with in the ring.

“This tournament is one of the most prestigious events on the boxing calendar and I have always dreamed of being able to compete against the best boxers on the continent and win a medal,” Macharia stated.

Macharia credited his coaches’ guidance and support for helping him reach new heights in his career. “A key factor in my success has been coach Benjamin Musa, a wellknown boxing trainer.

Together, we have worked tirelessly to refine my skills and technique,” he said.

He also credited his unwavering confidence and relentless work ethic for his master-class performance. “This combination has made me a formidable opponent in the ring,” he said.

He is committed to making a significant contribution to the boxing community. “I’m eager to compete against the best boxers from Africa and prove to the world that I belong among the elite.”

He is confident his skills, dedication and unwavering belief in himself will lead him to victory.

Both boxers showcased exceptional skills and power throughout the bout with Macharia, a relatively new addition to the Hit Squad team, demonstrating impressive footwork and reflexes making it difficult for Luvo to land any significant blows.

Head coach Musa lavished the pugilist with adoration, saying he made the country proud. The seasoned gaffer said Macharia’s speed and accuracy proved too much for Luvo to handle as the Angolan visibly struggled to land any significant punches.

“Macharia’s speed and agility allowed him to maintain the upper hand throughout the match. He displayed excellent defensive skills and quickly countered Luvo’s attacks with precise punches and combinations,” Musa said.
