The international friendly to mark the inaugural Vipers Day celebrations will be played at St Mary’s Kitende Stadium in Uganda.

While Vipers will use this friendly to entertain the fans and sharpen the team ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, Kenya Police will use the occasion to gauge their team ahead of the forthcoming Kenyan season and the CAF Confederation Cup.

The game is also meant to strengthen the relations between the two clubs, who are seeking to grow their brands in the region and across the continent.

Police’s new signings are Daniel Sakari, Eric Zakayo (Tusker), Samuel Njau, Brian Musa and Jackson Macharia(Posta Rangers) and Jaffary Owiti (Leopards).

The club is also expected to sign Senegalese striker Abdou Karim to replace Tito Okello, who left the club for Indonesia.
