Harambee Stars midfielder Richard Odada is in the United Kingdom ahead of a move to Scottish side Dundee United.
Odada is set to join the club on a two-year deal, from Major League Soccer (MLS) side Philadelphia Union subject to passing his medicals and getting an international clearance (ITC).
The defensive midfielder joins The Terrors, who were promoted back to the Scottish Premiership at the first attempt after a 0-0 draw with Airdrieonians on 26 April 2024.
Odada featured for Danish second-tier side Aalborg on loan last season and returned to Philadelphia after the club failed to activate his buyout clause.
He played alongside Emmanuel Toku, who also returned to the Belgian club Oud-Heverlee Leuven, this summer.
He scored four goals and made one assist in 22 games in all competitions, for the Danes and commanded a starting slot alongside Toku, but the club opted to release both of them.
Odada hails from Rongai, Kajiado County and gives back to society by running football academies and community projects both in Rongai and Kibera.
The 23-year-old midfield dynamo is a regular for Harambe stars and is seen as a natural replacement for former captain Victor Wanyama.
He will be hoping to command a starting slot in Jim Goodwin's side, who already signed striker Jort van der Sande on a two-year deal from ADO Den Haag.
