40 coaches set to earn higher diplomas in football coaching

Over 40 coaches across the country are set to earn higher national diplomas in soccer coaching after a four-day training session conducted by the United States Soccer Federation in collaboration with the 365 Soccer Program.

Dubbed ‘By The Book Sports Ministry Training,’ the program is ongoing in Kiambu County and aims to enhance coaching skills and mentor coaches to elevate soccer performance nationwide.

The coaching clinic commenced on Sunday and will conclude on Thursday. 

During the official launch of Season 3 of the programme, Extreme Sports CEO and Murang’a Seal vice chairman, Hussein Mohammed, emphasised the need to integrate football into the National Agenda to boost the sport at the national level.

Hussein also urged grassroots leaders to invest and embrace partnerships to train and mentor talented youths and the next generation of soccer stars.
