New Tusker head coach Charles Okere believes the new faces will fit in their system and style of play, having scouted them from last season, after parting ways with 11 regulars at the end of the  2023-24 FKF Premier League season.

Okere whose side beat Dandora Combined 3-1 in a friendly match at Dandora stadium today, is preparing for three pre-season friendlies in Kampala next week.

“I am happy with the team’s performances and fitness levels but we expect more difficult tests from  Ugandan top sides in Kampala next week, as we bring the training drills on difficult game situations,”  Okere added.

Tusker will be seeking to dethrone Gor Mahia off their perch next season, after finishing behind them in the last two seasons.
