Virgin Limited Edition is expanding its collection with the addition of Finch Hattons Luxury Safari Camp in Kenya, marking its ninth property globally and its fifth in Africa.

The camp, located in Tsavo National Park, joins other prestigious properties under Virgin Limited Edition, including Mahali Mzuri and Ulusaba Private Game Reserve.

Virgin Hotels Collection CEO James Bermingham said that the camp will now be ran by the United Kingdom firm.

Virgin Limited Edition is a part of the Virgin Group, which is a multinational conglomerate founded in the United Kingdom by Sir Richard Branson.

With 17 luxury tented suites, the firm says its strong focus on family values, community connection, and sustainability, Finch Hattons aligns well with Virgin Limited Edition's ethos.

This move will strengthen Virgin Limited Edition's presence in Kenya but also enriches its offerings for guests seeking top-notch luxury and authentic safari experiences.

Sir Richard Branson expressed his excitement about the new addition, highlighting Africa's unique allure and the camp's alignment with Virgin's values.

Leena Gehlot, Managing Partner of Finch Hattons, shared her pride in joining forces with Virgin Limited Edition, citing shared values in community, culture, and sustainability.

The camp will officially become part of the Virgin Limited Edition portfolio starting July 1, 2024, offering guests a comprehensive package including accommodation, meals, activities, and transfers.

According to the chain Rates start from $796 (Sh104,000) per person per night, including accommodation, all meals and drinks, as well as all scheduled activities.

This will be the second luxury hotel to open its gates in Kenya in two months after French Hospitality group announced opening of its first premium Pullman braded hotel in Kenya in June 2024
