Madison Life Assurance on Thursday flagged off 11 of its top performing agents to Singapore and Malaysia.
The firm has been rewarding its top achievers with trips abroad. The agents who left the country last week will enjoy an expense paid for the trip.
They were the second cohort, with another 14 agents having returned from a tour of Egypt a week earlier.
The firm is recognising its talent after it emerged among the top insurance companies last year in industry ranking.
“Today we are here to flag off our top tier agents as they go on their trip to Singapore and Malaysia as our way of recognising our sales people for the hard work that they do in convincing people to save for their financial future,” said Githua Ngaruiya, Managing Director, Madison Life Assurance
“This is in addition to another team of second tier agents that we had sent to Egypt. These were our tier two agents who did well in terms of selling our policies, getting clients to believe in themselves and save for their future."

Madison emerged among the top three insurance companies at the industry awards organised by the Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI), beating many giants in the sector.
Its agents also performed well, having four of its agents named as among the top 10 agents in the industry.
“This kind of recognition is important for the team and it means that the company is recognising its top performers,” said Joseph Gathogo head of branch network and the national sales manager at Madison.

He explained that additional, dozens of agents have been rewarded with trips to different local tourism circuits including Naivasha, Mombasa and Masai Mara.
The firm took their top performers to Greece and South Africa. In 2026, the firm is planning to take the top achievers for 2025 to the United states.
“I am happy to go and see the world,” said Elizabeth Syombua Karanja, who is Madison’s top Financial adviser and number two in the industry.
She is among those headed to Singapore and Malaysia.
Lucy Mwangi, Agency services manager at Madison has just returned from Egypt.
“Our visit was exciting. We learned a lot especially on history, culture and to see how massive the tourism industry is in the country and we look forward to having such in the country as well,” she said.
