WHAT EXACTLY WAS a big man doing at a secluded high-level state facility recently? The visit to the site near the home of a politico in the news for all sorts of reasons has got tongues wagging about what might be about to go down. The visit was rare as the political figure could get whatever information he needed from the team in charge without going in person. A little bird whispered to Corridors of Power the timing of the visit was the catch, as the system used in the facility is not unique.
A STATE OFFICIAL is the talk in political circles for what commentators allege is his penchant for being economical with the truth. They want the man to come clean on what happened between him and the boss of an entity currently reeling under a state crackdown. They allege the official was close to the entity and possibly reaped big from some of its windfalls. But the grand question is how the once-promising relationship quickly worsened to the level that warrants targeting the entity’s boss.
A TOP PUBLIC officer basking in glory just can’t hide his glee following certain recent developments in the country’s political space. He was overheard saying that, “God manifested Himself in a magical way at a time of need.” Corridors of Power is told the official had fallen out with a prominent figure so badly they no longer saw eye to eye. He even faced the sack for failing to heed some orders. Maybe this could be a true instance of the saying that when God closes one door, He opens another.
JUST WHO IS benefitting from a lucrative tender at a state agency believed to be extremely overpriced? Well, a mole says the tender for the product the agency seeks to use to manage its operations better has been awarded to a vocal politician. The big question troubling those following the matter is what the supply would be for to warrant the cost at which it is being acquired. Those aware of the matter argue the operations could still proceed uninterrupted without the system, concluding it is a rip-off.
